A poem on arriving where we belong and the arduous journey to get there.

Sing me home, darling
Sing the blues of the clouds away
Start the fire to melt my sorrow
Grab a blanket to tuck my grief

Sing my home, darling
Sing the mountains and the oceans
Set the table for my famished body
Pour the coffee to awaken my soul

Sing me home, darling
Sing the birds on the righteous road
Open the door where my heart belongs
Clear the ground where my knees will fall

Sing me home, darling
Sing me all the way to you
